I've tried this, but personally I don't see any difference. Then again, my hair is naturally rather shiny when clean, just that it didn't get any _better_ from rinsing with cold water.

Yes, it is true. The cool/cold water closes the hair shafts that have opened from the hot water and shampoo products. This makes it look shinier when dry.

In theory, rinsing in cool water makes the cuticles go back down after the hot water raised them. So yes!

That's what i've heard. Something to do with the hair-shaft closing.

I've also heard, a blast of cold water on the skin in the shower is good for circulation & helps combat cellulite!!

I've heard that many times, but than i read an article in a magazine that said its actually heat that makes it shiny. Try both, use cold water one time, than hot another, and see which works best for you.

yes its true. I always rinse my hair in cold water and the added benefit if your in the shower is that the cold water on your body will improve circulation and cellulite!!

Yes I have done this for years since I first read about it. My hair feels, moves better and is more shiny when I do this.
