...TO BUILD THE CASE FOR WAR IN IRAQ" by Peter Eisner and Knut Royce.

This is an amazing book just out and it is a disgusting expose about how we contrived to go to war with the use of bogus information we knew was bogus!

Congress voted according to the information provided to them just like Congress voted to pass the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution in 1964 based upon the information provided to them by the White House that the Maddox and the Turner Joy had been attacked by North Vietnamese torpedoes.

In both cases, the members of Congress trusted their source!

We now know that there weren't even any North Vietnamese patrol boats out in those stormy seas that night in the Tonkin Gulf. Sonar techs had been spooked and got false readings from their own propellers because both ships were tacking at sharp angles. We flew patrols over the ocean that night, and no sightings of enemy boats were made. The White House knew this, but pressed on with an orchestrated military retaliation and a LEGISLATIVE FRAUD that duped all members but two of both
Houses of Congress and needlessly concentrating war-making prerogatives in LBJ's hands.

With Bush, Congress did the same thing all over again!

As for yellowcake, you will find plenty of references to it in this thoroughly-researched book.

Yellowcake, 4, 17, 33, 39, 41, 66-67, 84, See also Iraq, uranium purchase of, alleged

"...Niger was not capable --- even if it had been interested in doing so --- of secretly shipping yellowcake to Iraq or anywhere else.
... a French company controlled the uranium trade, and any shipment of uranium certainly would have been noticed. If a uranium sale had taken place, the logistics would have been daunting.

...yellowcake was stored in 400-kilogram(880-pound) barrels, each only filled halfway, more or less 200 kilos for each barrel, to control weight and safety. With delivery in two shipments of 250 metric tons each, a batch would have required a convoy of trucks; and since tractor-trailers are rarely seen in West Africa, it would have required an incredible amount of trucks..."

G W bush is total disgrace to our country
George Bush is Someone who

1. Turned the largest US surplus into the largest deficit in American history, then gives tax cuts when he should be raising taxes to get more money for the country. (And of course, he only gives tax cuts to all of his rich buddies.)

2. Blamed bin Laden for 9/11 (which is okay), but when he couldn't find him, made Americans forget about him by diverting their attention to Saddam Hussein, who had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11. Has he found bin Laden? Has he found any WMDs? Didn't think so.

3. Feels the need to stick his nose in Iraq's business and "improve" their government while bombing and completely destroying Iraq-it's obvious it's just an excuse to go to war.

4. Lies about there being NO terrorist attacks since 9/11, when there have been quite a few that he covers up or makes America forget about. (Like that anthrax threat a few years ago for example.)

5. Passes the Patriot Act to keep America safe from terrorists while arresting people who aren't terrorists, never catching the people who are, and violating SIX AMENDMENTS of the Constitution.

6. Passes "Clean Air Act" which actually makes the air dirtier.

7. Makes every country in the world besides Britain and Poland hate us.

8. Quits the Kyoto Protocol because it would make his rich buddies actually spend some money to reduce global warming, and God forbid anyone has to spend money.

9. Throws ultimatums at the American people that only a complete idiot could fall for (and a lot have) like "You're with us or you're with the terrorists" and basically just gets America to be loyal to him out of fear.

10. Only gets into Yale because of his father and passes with a C- average.

11. Has said enough stupid things to fill 265 pages of "Bushisms" books.

12. Gets elected into office after losing by over 10,000 votes. Do you think it's a coincidence that his brother was the governor of the state that the whole election depended on in 2000??

George Bush is a COMPLETE F@CKING A$%HOLE who never should have been elected, is one of the worst people in the country to earn the job of president and definitely is the worst president we have ever had or will ever have.

Bassman, Where do I start....you are an idiot!

1a. Please exlain the recent election in France. For a country that doesn't like us, they sure elected someone with the same qualities as President Bush.

1b. Germany

1c. Italy - Burlesconi lost by less than 1%. A country as divided as we WERE in 2000.

2. The electoral college is set up that way. Please explain 2004!

3. The Kyoto agreement is not signed by China! China produces the most pollution. Ask Germany how this has affected their economy!

4. Their hasn't been a terrorist attack in this country since 9/11. By your standards, the Clinton administration was even worse!

5. President Bush earned better grades than John Kerry! Billary han't even released her records!

6. Tax cuts! He has cut taxes! Obviously you have no clue how the economy works, so here goes...IF YOU PAY TAXES YOU BENEFIT MOST FROM TAX CUTS!! By the way, who owns the company you work for....a poor person or a wealthy person? My guess that a wealthy person. The idea behind tax cuts for the wealthy is that they put more back into the economy, when the economy is slow such as after the 9/11 attacks. Thus the economy begins to grow outting more revenue into the pockets of our G'ment. By the way the economy is still going strong!

7. About the original question: Didn't Bill Clinton believe the same things? Yes!! Could it be that there were two Italian letters?

8. Jimmy Carter- unless you call inflation, high interest rates and high unemployment a good thing!

9. Liberals are completely clueless, they actually have a lower satisfaction rating than the President!

10. If the liberals of Today ran the country in the 40's, we would be speaking German today!

Actually the whole issue is funny.

Congress voted for the Iraq war resolution, before the US even came into possession of the forged Niger document.

So , it kind of hard to blame the war resolution of documents that didn't exist at that time.

People act like Bush used the forged Niger documents in his speech's.

He did not, he used Intelligence from Britain that Iraq had tried to buy uranium from Africa in his State of the Union speech in 2003.

Intelligence that Britian still ranks as valid intelligence, even after it was investigated after the invasion.

Not to mention the fact that Iraq already had 1.8 million metric ton of yellow cake before the war started.

Yes, thats right, Iraq had 1.8 million metric tons of yellow cake, Before the war started, it was at Iraq's Tuwaitha Nuclear Research Facility .

Well, if all this information was Bogus and fake, why did most Democrats (including Kerry) and Congress vote for the war and allow the funding?
