my cat is bleeding and foaming from her mouth, she is 16 years old, nearly as old as me and i have had her since i was about 2 years old, from a kitten. she hasnt eaten for 5 days now and all she is doing is drinking water, but not from her water bowl. she is drinking the rain water from outside on our steps. i am really worrid because i hope she will survive through this awful thing and be okay again but i dont want her to be in pain. i want what is best for her. please can you tell me what it is please.

if you wanted what is best for her, you would have already taken her to the vet to see if you can help her.
cats can live to 20 years.... dont assume shes dying just because she is unwell.
even if she is dying - wouldnt you still want her to be comfortable? get her to a VET!

Take her to a vet! It's cruel of you to just go on the internet when you're cat is in so much pain.

Not that you are a cruel person and I apologize in advance if that was too mean but if she is bleeding, foaming, won't eat, etc. then there is an issue and yahoo answers won't help. She may die if you don't do something quick.

I am an animal lover and I hate to see animals in pain as well :/ Everything will be okay with her when you get a vet's assistance.

Easy does it kids. My cat had the same thing going on, but he was eating and drinking. Last night he started dripping blood from the mouth. I cleaned him up with a towel. It wasn't excessive but we planned on taking him to the vet today. He is nowhere to be found. I think he left and may never come back.

Take her to the vet
She is in pain you dolt and whats more she's suffering.
You know what this smacks of-- a form of animal abuse.
You waited 5 days and you get on the Internet instead of doing what you should have done in the first place.
You have got to be the stupidest person that I've ever ran across.Put your pet out of its misery!!!!!!

Shame on you!!! Get that cat in to a vet..You're waiting all this time then asking Answer's while your cat is obviously suffering?Do you think someone here can offer a cure that won't cost you anything? She needs help, and as her owner and friend, you are the only one that can help her.Take her to the vet.
