I mean, is it normal? me and my ex didn't end up in good terms.
is my reaction just normal? because I really feel depressed.
I want to call my ex after over a year of not communicating with him just to see if he's doing fine, and let him know how much I care about him... should I do it?
we didn't end up nicely... I said so many hurtful and damaging things to him... I feel terrible...

Well, it sounds like you still have feelings for the guy. But realistically, why stir the pot now? If you don't really want to get back together with this guy, calling him and telling him how much you care is a bad idea.

you still have feelings for him. you probably wanted to talk to him all along and the death just makes it worse. if you are a strong person call him that way if he does not want to talk it will not bother you as much. you should probably get counsoling though. if you still want to talk to him all this time and if you are so worry about it him it shows that you have seperation issues. i know for me it took me awhile to not want to talk to my ex or always be worrying how he is doing

Sounds to me like ... in actuality ... you want to get back with your ex ... just remember all of the reasons ... why he's your ex ...
