Well I certainly can't give you 100 reasons but don't take me wrong, I love Hong Kong! I just think 100 reasons is too many. So anyway, here is my list:

1) It has this amazing blend of Eastern and Western Cultures. Examples of this is that Hong Kong combines the use of the Western Calendar and the Chinese Calendar. Hong Kongers dine in McDonald's, KFC, Burger King, but they also dine in traditional tea houses and restaurants that serve traditional Chinese cuisine.

2) Even if Hong Kong is known to be a booming metropolis, it still offers great nature scenery and hiking. Try to go to Lantau Island and the Outlying Islands like Cheung Chau and Lamma Island to see what I mean. Hiking is a well-kept secret in Hong Kong.

3) It's a great shopping Mecca! You can shop at uptown shopping malls, or at flea markets and night markets, and you can still find good deals.

4) It's the gateway to China! Enough said.

5) It's both fun to visit for the adults and kids! There's Ocean Park and Hong Kong Disneyland that kids surely love.

6) The Peak Tower! It's the best place to see the Hong Kong Skyline.

7) The Symphony of Lights! Did you know that this light show is "The World's Longest Permanent Lighting Show" according to Guiness World Records? It is a light show that is shown daily at 8pm. On special occasions it may involve the use of fireworks too! The best vantage points are Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui or in Wan Chai (Golden Bauhinia Square). Or you could try watching it in a ferry!

Actually I have many, many, many more resons why Hong Kong is the best place to travel to... I may add more later.

1) Good Chinese Food.
2) The Skyline (night) looking towardsHong Kong from Kowloon is one of the best in the world.
3) Getting around is easy, you don't even have to speak Chinese.
Relatively Safe.
4) Transportation is easy. The place is small so you can take the subway everywhere. Tons of taxis also

1. The food and stuff are pretty cheap, so it's kind of a good place to go shopping.
