It started as a round sunken in part of my forearm, as weeks passed the spot became scaly oozy skin (like a blister) growing more round each day. Then i started getting smaller ones on my other arm, back and leg? It lasted for months, doctor said it was a type of dermatisis. (i thought it was ringworm)

No, ringworm is a fungus that is dry, red, and a ring-shape. It can take a couple weeks to several years to clear up. Ringworm and other skin conditions can be challenging to clear up, so keep with the regimen the doctor ordered, and go back if it doesn't clear up.

I would call the doctor just in case. If it is considerably sunken in, then that is a sign of dehydration. But, if you are just talking about being able to see the spot, that is normal. I always noticed my child's soft spot, it just looked like a dip on the top of the head. But my doctor said that if it was spongy to the touch, he was just fine and well hydrated.

No ringworm does not sink in nor does it ooze. Your doctor is right.
