Washington for sure. It's closer culturally to California, and I love Vancouver. Frankly, I feel the food is better at Seattle than the other choices. I heard good things about minnesota. People in the twin cities are nice. North Dakota is closest to some of my relatives in Brandon Manitoba at least thats where they drive to to fly to Los ANgeles. I was invited to go to Montana to stay a while once.

Good question!

I would go for Montana, because yes, more gun toting people!
I'm only a teen and I would carry a gun if I could, for protection, the world is getting crazier by the day. I would go there for the mountains. I love the mountains myself, either Montana or Idaho.

But then again I don't exactly like canada, so I dont think I would want to move up there that close to canada in that area anyway. To cold too.

Out of those, I'd pick Washington for sure...

I do, however, live in a border state! Only I border Mexico (I'm in Arizona)...

Montana! Land of Big Blue skies, the unabomber (wait - bad example), no sales tax, real winters, pro gun, libertarians and small government conservatives, bible believing Christians, and very little else. Perfect!

Those are all cold places, some of us like it warm. I think I would choose big sky country, my brother has been there he is crazy about it... Montana would be my choice.
