It's especially irritating when we are watching a movie with sub titles. We can block pop-ups on our computer so is it possible to block them on our TVs? It's bad enough I pay for cable and still have to endure all thoses comercials except on the cable movie channels like HBO, STARS, etc. that I don't subscribe to any more. I watch Discovery, DIY, History, Animale Planet, and National Geografic. I live in Hawaii. Is it like this on the mainland also?

As T-W is your cable company, call them and ASK them to stop the annoying pop-up ads on your TV.

I use TW and the only popups i get are the ones the individual stations use to promote their future programing. There's nothing TW can do to stop that.
