i found this really cute hairstyle that i want, but there's one problem; it's on an anime person. It's not some poofed up deal like alot of anime, i think this one's realistic. anyway, does anyone know where I could find the following hairstyle in the pic on a real girl? I don't really wanna go to my stylist and show her an anime person, lol =) and if there's no picture, how could i describe it?

Well, my suggestion is that you go where you want to get your hair cut and look through the books of styles that they usually have there. The one you linked looks totally possible to me, very realistic, and I'll bet you can find one like it in one of those books. Then you can just show it to the cutter.

This one looks pretty realistic, and could be done. My personal description is a point cut layered bob, frames the face around chin length. But i would try to find a real picture. I recommend hairstyle magazines, they have a variety of different hairstyles and you will probably find the one your looking for. If all else fails, bring in your anime pic. You and your hairstylist could laugh about it later.

I can understand your hesitation but to get the best results, bring the anime photo w/ you & explain that it inspired you to change your hairstyle. That way, the hair stylist can understand you a bit better.
What you are looking for is a short, choppy & layered bob. But it's better to have pictures w/ you so the stylist can literally see what you have in mind.

Um, I'd describe it as a choppy, chin-length bob with bangs?
