This would be during a concert that I will be attending in Omaha.

Usually everyone brings cameras. Put the camera at the bottom of a cluttered bag to get it into the concert, then you can take it out once you're in. No one will say anything, and even of they did they can't take the camera or ask you to leave so don't worry about it!

Depending on the concert I've seen security turn a blind eye to taking a couple of pictures and then putting it away. But if you are crazy obsessive with it and have the camera out in plain sight the whole time they will catch you and kick you out.

If anything you will be asked to take your camera to your vehicle.
But I suggest you take it and if others are using cameras ,Then you go ahead and use yours.
Its a less chance you will be caught with your camera.

It would seem to me if you are going to a concert of a band you admire, your would respect their wishes. But that's me, I'm a bit old-fashioned like that.

None - if they dont find it. If they see it all they can do is ask you to go check it in, they do not have any right to confiscate it.
You can get round the rule by taking photos on your mobile phone

you cant get arrested or anything but you can get thrown out and possibly lose your camera for a while

you at the instant are not allowed yet people do in any case, so why not and what are they going to do take your digicam away, what proportion youtube video clips do you notice that folk recorded stay shows.
