I drive a Scion tC with an agressive body kit and a wing, I dont have any illegal modifications as far as I know.

But this is my 4th time in 3 days getting pulled over for no reason by these motorcycle idiots, which they ask me questions about my car whats on it, etc, they even made me pop my hood for the 4th time and search the bottom of my car, but for the 4th time they havent find anything and just let me go.

Im so frustrated with this profiling, I was actually late from work today because of them!

Any cops around here?

I'm not from your area.

However, three things....

Having an aggressive body kit is going to attract attention to your car (I assume that is why you got it), along with that is going to be law enforcement attention

Most cars like that have neon lights and neon lights are illegal in many places, they may be looking for that.

More and more suburban white dope dealers are driving imports. And most have modifications. The officers are just playing the odds they are going to find some dope.

And finally, I highly doubt you got pulled over four times in 3 days for "no reason" at all. Either, someone driving a very similar car is always up to no good and they are looking for them, they have reasons and you are leaving that out or you are inflating the numbers.

It's not that difficult to get probable cause to pull someone over. Probable cause includes: speeding (any amount over), not using turn signals, any equipment defect (burnt out lights etc), weaving, crossing the lines, tailgating, excessive tint in the windows, playing music too loud. All an officer has to do is wait until one of these things occurs and he his within legal rights to pull you over. Sorry about your luck, but when you modify you car to draw attention, that's what happens.

We have been given it in March with 67000 miles on the clock, 2 tiny bits of rust beside the Tbar, and for its MOt final week it purely necessary 2 gators on the steerage rack and mufflers for the exhaust, as I had a custom made one, which the mechanic suggested grow to be too loud!

I really dont have a answer but a question? Where in norcal are you? Cus im in norcal too and what you told me kind of made me parinoid. When you get pulled over they actually look under you'r car to see if you still have the stock cat on? I took mine out a long time ago and am running a full 3 inch fron the turbo...

my cars all stock on the outside. Nothing done to the body at all. Only thing I think would tip off the cop is my car is lowered, has a aftermarket catback that is really LOUD! But I have a silencer so it gets kind of quieter when I put it on but I lose power...

I am not a tree hugger and I hate the enviroment........just kidding..lol

But I will do anything to get more power out of my car........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ANYTHING!!!!
