I think the question here is which companies will extend the most credit in the shortest period of time. Just because you have a credit score in the 700's doesn't automatically approve you for a $20,000 card. My credit is in the 700's also and I just recently applied for a discover card and they started me out with a $5,000 limit. I got 2 other cards with a $15,000 limit, but I started with $1,500 and over 2-3 years they increased it to over $15,000. From personal exprence, I had a card with MBNA America, Now Bank of America. Started in 2003 with a $1000 limit and they now got it to $23,000 Just pay your bills ontime and they will increase your credit line every few months!

I have two AMEX cards, each with an actual credit limit of 50 grand.

I have seen advertisements for credit limits up to 100 grand.

American Express has the "black card" which has no limit period. There aren't that many given, and you can't apply for it.

Well, if the U.S. Government issues one- it's probably well up into the millions somewhere (Now THAT'S one credit line I'd LOVE to have! :) ).
