I need to lose 10 pounds asap for my wedding. How long does it take to lose that amount of weight?

Hmmmm. Do atkins, you can lose hella weigh hella fast. But 10 pounds isnt a huge amount of weight. You will prob lose that in the lead up to the wedding with all the stress!

How far away is your wedding? There are different ways to go about it... losing water weight... or losing a pound a week for 10 weeks. One thing that I hope you are sure of is that your fiance does not care about those 10 pounds. He just wants you. And that is a great feeling

The dress is being altered to fit you; you shouldn't have to alter your appearance to fit the dress. However, if your concerned with ten (itty-bitty) pounds, your not that bad off. There is too much stress on women to look like the skinny racks in cosmo. Don't worry about a few pounds here and there. However, if you are going to try to lose the weight, don't lose more than 2 pounds per week, otherwise, you run the risk of gaining it all back and making yourself sick. Why add more stress to your wedding? Eat something, tailor the dress to fit you, and enjoy your wedding. You have enough to do without worrying about one more little detail.

It all depends on what you are actually doing about it.

It should only take a few weeks (3 or 4), no more than that unless you're not really committed to dieting & exercising, of course!

I did weight watchers hard core for two weeks before my wedding and lost 10 pounds.

4 weeks. Eat about 1000 calories - 1600 calories, take an hour long walk daily. Also, weight watchers and Nutrisytem are great.

never eat any snack food out of the box carton or bag it came in you re less likely to overeat if you separate snacks into appropriate fist sized servings
