I have been at my job seven years and do not plan on giving them a gift when I leave. Where have you worked? I find this a little weird to be getting your co-workers a gift. How much do you want to spend? If you are getting gifts for 60 and you do not want to break the bank I would say going to the dollar store because you will spend a lot other wise.

I dont know what you consider breaking the bank, but even if I spent $1.00 on 60 people, I think that is too much. Unless you are their superior, I dont think you have to buy individual gifts. You can all meet after work for drinks. You can have some sandwiches catered, something like Panera's is always a favorite. You can buy some cake or like someone mentioned, a pizza party. You can go to each person individually and tell them your goodbyes, but a gift is certainly unnecessary.

I like Missy's idea, an office gift, something they don't have, and would like. A coffee maker, a device for boiling water for tea.
A selection of teas and coffees and hot chocolate.
Or get something for the group, a cake, cookies, donuts, pizza, a big box of nice chocolates, a fruit basket,
My former place of employment gave out gormet carmel apples.
Buy something they can each share, or take home, or eat themselves. I have a bag of gormet carmel corn from Wal-mart in front of me, it comes in three flavors, under $3 a bag. Cans of nuts, bags of upscale candies, smaller boxes of chocolate candies, choose them all from the same price range, put them out on a table, and invite everyone to choose one of what they like. One of the doctors where I used to work did this, we loved it.
Or, do the above on a smaller scale, provide some disposible bowls or small styrofoam coffeee cups, and let them have at. Put in some fresh fruit, if there is a diabetic on staff. A box of strawberries, maybe.
Hope this helps, good luck on the new job.
I personally would not go out and buy a personal gift for each, presumably you would wrap and put a name on each one. It seems like too much, and what could you buy each one, without spending a fortune?

Give gift cards. Treat them to an inexpensive meal such as hamburgers, hot dogs, or pizza, or simple sandwiches and chips! Find some companies that will give you promo things just to advertise their business such as (pens, calculators, notepads etc.) and give each co-worker a gift bag with an assortment of these promos. Also, if you can bake, I have found people love to get cookies, cupcakes(personalize them), muffins, etc. to show you care. Good luck and I hope you find something!

Maybe an office gift..... like a new coffee maker...... one of the big ones, and a few bags of gourmet coffee.
Maybe order preprinted gifts that are personalized..... like key chains or pocket callendars with a sentiment like I will always remember....... you can order these for a discount if you order in bulk.
Maybe have a catered brunch in the office, bagels and fruit.... or just a large gift basket for them all.
Good luck!

sixty people eh? Well guess that would depend on what you would consider to be breaking the bank. I did something like that with a unit I worked with, there were 89 of them, I gave them a pizza party.

Try here. The tibetan pendants, and the silver rings or the low price paper cutting... You can contact them for wholesale price, more get and more cheaper. And the silver things, if you book in advance, you can ask them to carve your name or the patterns you like on the silver rings or the pendants.

I'd suggest that you bring in lunch for everyone one day. This is probably cheaper than buying everyone a gift. It also will be something that everyone will appreciate.
