It is a history book that describes history from before the creation of the world to the end of earth and even farther it gives insight into Angelic beings and there kingdoms and gives instruction for spiritually healthy living. The bible has many wonderful story's about simple people who loved God and did exceedingly great things with his help. Danial is a great book to read.

the same reason why a book on plumbing systems is crap boring, because you don't understand it.
the Bible has mystery, murder, sex, etc. try reading through the confusing ancient language structure and you might find that it's pretty interesting.

Perhaps you should ask God to open your eyes to this wonderful book and open your ears to hear his word.
To whom can I speak and give warning? Who will listen to me? Their ears are closed so they cannot hear. The word of the Lord is offensive to them; they find no pleasure in it. Jeremiah 6:10

Oh, I don't know. It's full of hope and violence and love and sex and death and dead people coming back to life and supernatural acts and heroes and........ Sounds like it would be a killer movie. Maybe you're not reading the same Bible.
