I have these even after a good refreshing nights sleep and have tried many products to try and cover them up. The best products I have discoveres are by Bobbi Brown. It is a two product process - first use the corrector and then the concealer on top and it covers up dark circles like no other product I have found. Bobbi Brown is great because she has such a wide range of colours for all nationalities. On the Bobbi Brown website it gives a good explanation of the colours to choose.
I have found that my dark circles are worse if I haven't taken enough exercise. After exercise my skin is glowing and my dark circles are improved.
Also dark circles can be caused by a food allergy or food intolerance so it may be worth checking to see if this could be the cause.

There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

if the dark circles are there, regardless of your amount of sleep, then use a yellow concealer cream that you can use for under-eye circles. i always have dark circles, whether im tired or not. i use this yellow concealer cream because its opposite ends of the color spectrum so it cancels it out. well, to be honest, you can still see the circles just a small bit, but this concealer definitely helps. i swear by it!

Go to Charles fox in covent garden(02072403111) and get pan stick. It`s oil based theatre make up. I`m a drag queen and have the same problem. I use pan stick(it costs about £10)but lasts ages.Make sure you get 1 that is close to your skin tone this may feel heavy when you 1st start using it but you will get used to it.make sure you use a cosmetic sponge to smooth it out and blend it into the rest of your cheek bones

More sleep, good diet, but unfortunately sometimes its genetic and hard to get rid of. In this case, concealer is the only way to lighten up the area.
