Don't get me wrong, I think its great that real doctors are answering questions.
But do y'all really have the time?

Sure. A few minutes here and there. Sometimes between cases, if the room turnover is slow, or if I have to wait for a surgeon to show up.

I also have time to produce a podcast, help my kids with homework, go hiking, and all sorts of other things.

I have a pretty regular life.

Its true that doctors are usually pretty busy professionals but give consideration that doctors just like any other Yahoo users are human beings too.Doctors need a break from their work too, they do need to take some breath, "change weather" and find some sort of ventilating their minds off their work. Answering question here is one way of expressing their mind in a different manner, though obviously it is quite similar when they are answering patients questions. The difference is some sort of fun Y! Q& A could offer. Yes, there are real doctors answering here.
