I have looked at loads of web sites nothing in found in my area, with the amount of chips eaten, there must be so much waste oil in this area like 100s of gallons of the stuff, does it all go to waste?

I think Yarmouth or lowestoft councils were looking into this.
there are so many chip stalls/shops in Yarmouth; and they all should pay to have it disposed of properly.

You may want to check out the lowestoft Zero Waste project. It all seems to have gone rather quiet lately.

I know several people who have considered setting up a bio-fuel business - perhaps put an advert/article in paper asking for people to join in setting up a scheme.

I doubt there are enough people in Yarmouth to make it viable. Guess you'll have to move to California if you want to burn veggie oil in your car.
