You have to keep them seperated, but if you do that it should be fine. You HAVE to keep her seperate. You can't ignore the fact that dog aggression has unfortunately been bred into pits. They are wonderful pets, though. I have a male right now that I'm rehabilitating.
Most shelters put pits down, so if you can't keep her, please find her a good home.
Good luck.
*edit*
You can have her with the other dogs if you are there to intervene, but she should be introduced into their territory and introduced one at a time. If she starts giving them a hard stare [you'll know it if you see it], separate them immediately.
Whenever you are not around them, separate, separate, separate. Every single time.

I don't see a problem with it..how old is she?? if the previous owner is getting rid of her-why? Some breeds just have a bad rep like Pitts and Rotts...any dog can be mean or nice..its just the way you raise them and what kind of temperament the parents have..At one time i had 3 Rotts and a mix breed..of course they worked out who was the alpha female and being dogs they did have some fights..but that is expected..you have to know what you are doing and be able to handle the situation..

I have three dogs. A Chi/Rat Terrier (20 lbs), a big Beagle (38 lbs, big not fat) and an APBT (55 lbs). They get along great. They are always chasing each other around the house and play fighting, none have been hurt. The Pit learned from the Beagle how to beg.

If they are doing fine together, than keep her. I have 2 pit. 1 female and 1 male. I am staying with my bro for the time being and my bro has a shepard/husky mix. They are all great together, just keep an eye on they for awhile, female pits do have a shorter amount of temperment and like to relax annd be unbothered sometimes, my bros dog is always bothering my female pit and sometimes she gets aggitated and gets alittle rough with my bros much smaller dog. Always keep an eye on them and dont leave them together alone at night. It should be no problem at all otherwise. Good-Luck with your new pit. They are a joy and pleasure to have.

How previous are your little ones? undesirable breed determination for youthful ones, ok for older ones yet i wouldn't get 2 kin canines at one time. that's greater powerful to get a million, get it houseborken and knowledgeable, then grant abode yet yet another....2 kin canines straight away uually gorw into 2 poorly behaved canines. you apart from mght choose to make helpful the region you lives could enable 2 canines of that length or breeds. i wouldn't even evaluate once you're a renter- canines alongside with those could stay optimal probable 10-12+ years, and it is generally VERY difficult to come across a sparkling place to hire with those breeds. in case you own a house, you may make helpful your assurance woud conceal a majority of those canines. undesirable concept all around, i think of. Why not rather one or the various? rather because you have 2 little ones doesn';t propose you elect 2 canines. NOe could rather be appropriate- for you, and the canines.

Any properly socialized dog can be kept with other dogs regardless of breed. The trick in this case is to introduce them carefully on neutral ground, not your home, and see how they react. Keep everyone on leashes and in control until you see how they like each other. I certainly hope this works out. Poor pitbulls have been given a bum rap because too many people want to promote thier gangsta image.

I don't see why not, not a Pits are mean, if they have never met each other I would gradually introduce them to make sure you don't have any problems with your other dogs being territorial with the Pit.

I don't see why not if the dogs get along and you want to keep her. Lots of people have a pitt bull and another dog.
