Your problem doesn't lie with where you download, but your internet connection. You cannot honestly expect to download ANY file within a short amount of time with dialup do you? The key word is bandwidth. You do not have enough to download large files with dialup. Perhaps you should break down and get DSL, it isn't all that expensive, otherwise you'll just have to deal with it.

I recommand you to use Google Picasa to manage and edit your pictures.

Picasa is software that helps you instantly find, edit and share all the pictures on your PC. Every time you open Picasa, it automatically locates all your pictures (even ones you forgot you had) and sorts them into visual albums organized by date with folder names you will recognize. You can drag and drop to arrange your albums and make labels to create new groups.

Picasa makes sure your pictures are always organized. Picasa also makes advanced editing simple by putting one-click fixes and powerful effects at your fingertips. And Picasa makes it a snap to share your pictures ¨C you can email, print photos at home, make gift CDs, instantly share via Hello™, and even post pictures on your own blog.

free download in here, just have a try:

Well, the size of the program won't change, no matter were you download from. If you have dial-up, a 700mb file will download the same speed from every place. There is no smaller file size version of it.

give it up. i could recommend you to use uTorrent to download the Torrent file, but it would need at least ADSL internet, since it is gonna take a while to be downloaded, so don't count on it with Dial-Up.
