The Stereo is a Pioneer Cd Player, it's a little old, but not to old. I installed it myself maybe I forgot something to do, you tell me. At this time when it isn't playing cd's correctly if you try to listen to the radio the radio doesn't receive any stations. When the radio does work it only gets AM, the FM stations won't come in on it.

Did you use electrical tape for your wires? It will start to come off when it gets too hot.

Check to lose or touching wires behind the dash

Good Luck

It sounds like a poor solder joint or cracked circuit board.
The only thing is to remove it & inspect under a magnifier.
If nothing is obvious, use a jumper cable to power it up.
Try flexing the board & wiggling wires (gently).
See if you reproduce the problem & spot where it is.
Then you'll have to resolder or run a little jumper bridge.
If that doesn't help, apply heat with a hair-dryer.

You prolly have a short in the wiring man. That is where I would start. You should have let someone who knows stereos install it for you.
