Yes! It is very wrong! According to state laws a 16 year old is considered a minor while a 20 year old is an adult.
A 16 year old should wonder as to why a 20 year old is not able to talk to someone his or her age. Likewise, most 20 year olds wouldn't think about dating a 16 year old anyway!
There are a lot of legal issues to consider as well, such as contributing to the delinquency of a minor, statutory rape etc.
The best think to do is to move on and then if it so happens that both are in their 20's and still have an interest, then that would be pretty cool 4 years from now and not anytime before that!

In some states it is legal for a 16 year old to have sex... However, like many of the others I would highly recommend letting your 20 year old friend you would like to wait a couple of years before having sex... if they are willing to wait then it is a more honest relationship...

Well, there are a lot of places out there that consider sexual relations with a minor to be rape.
Personally, I think if you are 20 and he is 24 - no big deal. But 16 to 20 - there is a world of differences. If you really like each other - you should wait.

You know, I am going through the same thing. I met this guy at work and he is 20 im 16.
Ive come to the conclusion that age is only a number, really. If he treats you with respect then Id say go for it. :]

20 year olds shouldn't be dating 16 year olds, though.

It depends.....LEGAL age in that particular state is ? If you'r eboth of legal age and sound mind, then no, there is nothing wrong with it. Just make sure that by you being 16 it's not goign to land him in prison for statutory rape

Yes...it's only four years, which won't matter much when you are 24 and she is 20...but for now...YES...just asking for trouble...get someone over 18!

Morally if you two like each other nothing is MORALLY wrong with it. Legally speaking its illegal and your boy can get into a lot of trouble.
