Yes, the ER is there for people with symptoms out of control, that can't get in to a doctor soon enough.

I know just how intrusive the extra sights and sounds can be. They can interfere with your life, and your safety when your are in or around traffic. And, they can increase your stress level causing even more problems.

You likely need a medication taken daily to help you silence the extra sights and sounds. (Likely something like Haldol or Abilify, etc) If one doesn't work for you well enough, be willing to try another kind until you find what will work)

Before heading for the expensive ER, if you are not in a crisis, try one more time to call and explain your URGENT NEED to see the Dr. sooner. If you can't get in with that Dr., they may be able to refer you to someone who CAN see you very soon.

Mental health care can be really difficult for the person with mental problems to actually access. Sometimes you have to be persistant, and if you can't do this for yourself, get someone (parent, spouse, friend) to get the help for you.

One more note: most every area has a public "Mental or Behavioral Health" clinic who can address your needs.

If you are having a mental health EMERGENCY or CRISIS, or thoughts of SUICIDE
yes, to get immediate help GO TO THE ER or call 911 if you need someone to take you to the ER.

You can go to the mental health ward anytime and sign yourself in. This is not a bacteria illness but a social illness and if you are going to hurt others or yourself it is a crisis. You must begin to read about why the brain , when it has to erase beliefs makes a chemical that stays in the fluid to make you feel depressed. Pills are only a time maker until you can learn the cause of false expectations. The chemicals will slowly dissipate from the fluid or be canceled with the endorphins of life. Try to allow changes to take place slowly in life to avoid serious depression. Look for a friend who is like you and has learned how to deal with being an outsider socially.

"evening terrors and different parasomniac subject concerns would be exceeded genetically". although there are a alot of motives to set off your daughters episodes, like emotional rigidity, or something very surprising that exceeded off to her, a extreme fever are concept to precipitate in maximum episodes. considering that evening terrors are maximum ordinarily further on with the aid of being overtired, each so often no therapy is mandatory aside from a bedtime time table that ensures ideal sleep. If the evening terrors are greater customary, in spite of if, it rather is been stated that the guy could be wakened from sleep only earlier the time while the terrors happen to break the sleep cycle. often times, a doctor would prescribe scientific hashish to help alleviate rigidity and help relax he or she. yet I do have self belief your 16year previous would be afflicted by narcolepsy; particular attention could be used while the a individual suffers from narcoleps. inspite of the fact that some would flow against my opinion through fact your toddler is "basically" sixteen years of age.

You should definately go. ER Docs can handle mental health emergencies. There are a lot of different meds that can help with halucinations and they might be able to get you in to see a psychiatrist much sooner.

Yes, you definitely can go to the ER for this. Many hospitals have a Psychiatric ER as well, if your hospital has this option, go there first, they will help you to get well.

Good luck!

well it's not much of an emergency but you should see a psycharatrist and maybe take some perscriptions. ER is for like life or death accidents and i dont think it qualifies unless you manage to almost kill urself during ur hallusincatings
