Usually summers for me are kind of easy-go, relaxing and lazy. I'm a long-distance runner and soccer player but season is not on right now ( it starts in august) By that time I'm usually "out of shape" and usually get back in to shape when training starts. However, this year I want to be ready and fit. Any training suggestions on how to stay fit?

1. Climb home stairs (12-15 steps) 30 times and 3 sets over one day. Walk ONE mile after the last ride on the stairs-moderate pace with belly tucked-in. Breath normally. 2. Eat half the amount you eat. Prefer sea food- grilled not Asian. 3. No sodas- suck ice cubes one at a time when thirsty 4. Ration water input to 50ml per drink with no more than 2 litres/day 5. Skim milk only- chilled 6. Plenty of chilled water melon 7. No sugar This worked for me.

The best according to recent reports is get up an walk at least five miles per day. Please note most other nations do not have this fat problem like we have in the USA. Please remember that running is very hard on your leg joints and back. In fact it has been suggested that we all should walk instead of riding in cars. If you must ride get on a bicycle and enjoy the Sun shine as well as all the flowers you can see.

You could jog around the park, have small competitive games between friends or go for walks on the beach, it doesn't seem like much but I usually lose myself in the moment and time flies by.
