The Unburied 'Treasure' That It Wants Me * DEAD *....
The ‘Holy’ Bible advocates the KILLING of 2/3s of ALL HUMANITY – me, just because I accept tons of scientific evidence over zero evidence of any of humanity’s “Gods.”
( In Any SANE Society, The Bible Would NOT BE READ. )

I've found a lot of wonderful things but the most important thing I've found has been God. I know and trust that I am frogiven when I repent. I know and trust that when I die I'll go to heaven. That to me is amazing because no matter how bad I mess up God will always love me. That is incredible to me. It's not buried treasure. It is there freely for all who seek it.
People use verses in the Bible to contradict itself, but the words you read in it can mean different things. When God says there are no gods, He means there are no other gods but Him. Difficult to understand, yes I know. I've been through a mess of rough and dangerous things, trust me. I have never been happier then I am now that I believe and have God in my life. If you really want to know more let me know and I'll help as much as I can.

I like Isaiah 43. Verses 18 and 19 say: "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland."
However, later in the same chapter it says: "I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more. Review the past for me, let us argue the matter together; state the case for your innocence. Your first father sinned; your spokesmen rebelled against me."
I think that the second scripture in NIV might be misleading. The original Hebrew sounds more like "recount" or "relate" instead of "state the case for your innocence." It might be something similar to Psalm 1:2 - "but who delight in the law of the Lord and meditate on his law day and night" rather than talking about one's own actions to God. I don't know. We can certainly throw our anxieties on him. 1 Peter 5:7 - "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."

I remember reading in Revelations as a child. I came across a verse that said that God has a special name name for each of us that go to Heaven. It filled me with such hope that to know that God has such a close relationship with us. It is AWESOME.
