I do not know that I am going to heaven. I know I have sinned, and I have asked for forgiveness. But there are things, little things I do, that are sins, I do them alot and I do them well.

I constantly tell "white lies" or promise to do something then don't.....I know this is bad, but I've asked for forgiveness...will I be forgiven? I've been told 'Ask and you shall receive'

If God does not forgive me, then I will not be allowed into heaven I guess...

In Christianity, we can never do enough to please God. He is far too holy and perfect for that. Therefore he arranges forgiveness for us, in Jesus. We can never measure up to God.
What Jesus did was pay for my sins so that I might trust in what HE did and not me. That by faith I am saved and I am saved now.
If someone appeals to their own sincerity as a worthy effort before God, then they are appealing to their own character as a means to satisfy an infinite and holy God. People are sincerely wrong all the time.

Salvation is a gift that cannot be earned. We are justified by faith (Rom. 5:1) apart from the works of the Law (Rom. 3:28).

To be justified is to be made righteous. It is a divine act where God declares the sinner to be innocent of his sins. It is not that the sinner is now sinless, but that he is "declared" sinless. This justification is based on the shed blood of Jesus, "...having now been justified by His blood..." (Rom. 5:9).

Sanctification follows justification. In justification our sins are completely forgiven in Christ. Sanctification is the process by which the Holy Spirit makes us more like Christ in all that we do, think, and desire.

Yes, I believe His promise and accept His gift to live in His presence one day.

Yes Muhammad, you too can know your salvation. Man is sinful and was separated from a righteous God by sin. God is all knowing and did know man would fall. it is the reason God came to the world in the flesh to remain perfect and pay the penalty of death for us. Moses foretold of all of this in the first scriptures God gave to man. God told of man's fall from God...Adam sinned. God warned Adam he would die and he did. Sin did cause death and all men sin and all men die Satan the serpent lied to Adam and Eve and said you will not surely die...Satan is still telling this same lie today...the answer is in the true story and it is the tree of life that also was in the Garden the book that you study is not ina agreement with God but with the serpent as it does say God forgave Adam...the serpent tells this lie, god aid you will surely die...the answer was also in the garden and it is also not in the Qu;ran because the serpent does not want you top know about your salvation...The tree of life is Jesus Christ he is the manna from heaven...If you eat of this you will never die.

I believe there is no God but Allah; I believe that Muhammad (pbuh) is the Messenger of Allah. I pay zakat, and I practice regular acts of charity. I pray every day. I fast during Ramadan. It is my intention to make my pilgrimage as soon as I can afford to, insha'Allah. I am a very kind person, and I try to remain God-conscious throughout the day in everything I do.

But I am not perfect, and therefore will be granted Paradise if it is the Merciful will of Allah.

There are many religions which tells us short cuts to heaven. Like Christianity, all one has to believe is 'Jesus Died for my sins'. Jews say, we are the only people loved by Allah and deserves Paradise. Islam is n't like that. Holy Quran asks us to be on the true path. Having correct belief in Allah and not associating any parners for Him and one has to strive hard and do much of good deeds to attain it.
Yes, We all expect Allah's Mercy to eneter paradise. Without His Mercy no Prophets can enter. Insha-Allah a day will come when we all will be rejoicing in the eternal paradise. This is the very truth of this life. May Allah swt to admit all who obey and Surrender to His will the eternal Paradise..Amen.

I know I am going to a place where I will meet my beloved ones. I know I will spend sometime in that place (you can call heaven), where I wil learn from the mistakes in my life. I know that after a while I will be born again.

Peace!

I have no idea whether or not I'm going to heaven.

What I do know is faith in God has allowed me to feel peace. And when I fully surrender to God, it's as if I am already in heaven, for I feel no fear, only contentment and compassion for myself and all beings.

As a Muslim, I imagine you know what I am talking about.

Peace.
