It sounds like Mystic has lost her oomph since she's been spayed. Try to encourage her to play more; perhaps a laser pointer light or a simple piece of yarn will entice her to burn some of the built up fat.

Mystic should visit the vet for the dermatological problems she's having. It could be fleas causing the problems but you should ask a vet to be sure -- especially if the problem could spread to your other kitties.

Good luck! :)

After a dog is apyed or nuetered it is perfectally natural for them to gain wait. As for the bumps and scabs it sounds like she might have gotten fleas or a skin allergy to something causing her to itch. And scratching makes scabs. But I would take it to the vet to be sure. They'll give her some kind of medicine for it. Good luck!

Is she wearing a flea collar or have you put a flea product from the pet store or grocery store on her?

Could be a flea allergy or an allergy to flea products. The only safe and effective flea products are ones you get from a vet, because the modern ones are still under patent.

Sounds like a condition called miliary dermatitis. It's from her scratching, usually from a flea allergy. The vet will give her a shot or some oral meds to stop the scratching, and sometimes antibiotics. You really should have her checked out before it gets worse. And use Advantage on her every month.

Go to the vet and see what he/she says about it. Maybe your cat needs a treatment for it. Go to the vet ASAP.
