She doesn't bark much, but when she has barked, it was high pitched. Don't know if that really makes any difference or not. I love her, she is such a lap dog too! Very sweet! It's amazing what you can find at animal shelters, she is a very healthy dog from the looks of it. I wish more people would resuce animals from shelters more often. They would be in for a nice surprise!

Lil Momma - who cares what she is. She is DARLING. Too cute for me!!!!!
She may even have min pin in her. It is a guess all the way around.
You could say she a rare Javanese Jama dog. Very rare.
Thank you for saving her. Give her time and she will be your best friend.
Good Luck !

I would guess the Beagle, Italian Greyhound or even a SHELTIE. I say this because she looks exactly like my dog looked at that age (skinny legs, floppy ears) and she was Jack Russell and Sheltie. Her momma was the sheltie so that's how I know. The owner said the father was a Beagle but I drove down to the house where the 'father' lived and it was no way a Beagle but a Jack Russell.
Way to go on saving her! She is adorable!

That is the rare and sought-after Jackson 5 breed. It is named after the five (5) breeds of dog that make up this animal.
1. Jack Russell (hence the name Jackson)
2. Beagle (obvious coloring/physical makup)
3. Dachsund (sad eyes, "can' i have a treat?)
4. Bassett (no, not Jacquelyn Bisset)
5. Great Dane (don't ask, mom liked em big)
So there you have it. The rare and expensive Jackson 5.

She definitely has the stature of a chihuahua, and the coloring is typical of the jack russell, as well as beagle, although beagles do have black patches usually within their fur, and therefore I would agree in the Jack Russell observation as the wirey body is more befitting of a Russell. Beagles are usually broader in body, whereas a Russell is more slender and lean. Definitely the face of a chihuahua

The last photo makes me think there might be some Beagle in there. Does she have a little hound in her voice? That would definitely say Beagle. Charming dog. Good luck.----PeeTee
