Yes, M_ryan_a the museum says they only took one pair of dog "kind", cat "kind" etc. BUT then they say God gave these organisms "special tools" to expand into the species we know today. Now wouldn't that be evolution? Were the dinosaurs all one species? How can all the dinosaurs belong in one "kind", when there were swimming, flying, running, and waddling dinosaurs?

Back to the dog "kind" - the museum says they generated wolves, coyotes, and foxes, as well as all kinds of dogs. All within 4300 years. Must be some fantastic kind of "special tool" they were using.

Pugwashjw - Genesis 2:18-19 clearly states that man was created first, then the animals. I would assume dinosaurs would be animals as well.

I wonder if Noa brought termites on the ship...
Seriously, how is people still able to believe this stuff...
Beside doesn't it mean we are all discendant from a super series of incest? Kinda sick...
..wait, wait, I got it: Noa had a lot of different crap eating creatures on board, like cockroaches and flyes!
Another poit for christianity.
Disprove THIS flawless reasoning, science!

Also, how did all of the current living animals, 20 billion species (10 billion species on earth x2 for mating), and all of the extinct ones (Dinosaurs, ???, etc.) fit on the ark? My cat, for example, is about 10 lbs in weight and about 18" long, 8" wide, and 10" tall, which is roughly 1440 cubic inches. I know there are larger and smaller animals, but if there were supposedly dinosaurs on the ark, I think using my cat as the average is a conservative estimate. So, not even accounting for "leg room" that would come out to be 200,000,000,000 pounds (100,000,000 tons) of weight and approx 2,400,000,000,000 cubic feet of space. Standing surface alone must be (using 18"x8" *20bil) 240,000,000,000 square feet, which is about 47,058,823.5 square miles, or 23% of the earths surface(196,935,000 square miles).

Again, this disproves nothing. Why does he have to bring every type of dog, cat, dinosaur on the boat? Can he not bring two types of dog on, and then through mating, they have expanded? It never says that he brought two cocker spaniels, two alaskan huskies, two chihuahuas, etc. Two of each animal would conclude, two dogs of whatever type...
Christians, raise your glasses of grape juice, it's time to start the Christian drinking game (non-alcoholic of course) :)
*edit*
That is not macro-evolution according to science. That is micro-evolution. That is a change within a species.

commonsense should answer this.
We know from the bones just how big the dinosaurs were.
And we know from the Bible just how big the Ark was.
Two into one wont go.
so the dinosaurs, which WERE HERE ONCE, had been and gone long before the Ark.
God must have used them to fertilize the earth.
But because of their size, again commonsense dictates that they were imcompatible with man.
who, by the way, was the VERY LAST of God's creations.

Well that also creates the problem the the largest wooden ship ever only displaced 500 tons. Doesn't leave much room for food or the several million other species.

It's mythology.
Remember that. Given the dimensions, any wooden vessel of the size and shape described in the bible, would collapse of it's own weight.
Again, it's just a fairy tale.

They were probably young, even babies. And the dimensions given for the ark are the most seaworthy proportions.
