I have 7 month old Teacup Chihuahua. When I first got her at 7 weeks old, I followed the breeders menu Cesar's Cup Dinners, she seemed to enjoy it very much, and she would eat it very quickly. I noticed at about 4 months that she wasn't as anxious to eat her food, she would take a little, and walk away, it seems like I have to force her to eat at times.

Toy dogs mature faster than other breeds. She's probably finished growing, and doesn't need as many calories. As long as her weight is good, she's lively, and looks well, then I wouldn't worry. On the other hand,if she's too thin, has diarrhea,or is listless, then I would have her checked out by a vet.

Read up on holistic foods and natural foods for pets. Dogs will eat regular dog food if they have to, but they are much better off and will have much healthier appetites if fed real food. Make sure to check it out first as there are certain foods that they cannot have. They will have much less health issues. It is especially important to check this out for small breed dogs as they have more health issues than larger breeds. When I started feeding my pug holistic foods and making dog food for her, the skin problems she had cleared right up immediately and she seemed so much happier and healthier. Look up making your dog's food and holistic foods online. There is a ton of good information. Good luck!

All I can say is that unless your dog is quite sick you never ever need to force your dog to eat; even if he doesn't eat one whole day... if that goes on though, well thats when you should start getting concerned
Also could it be possible you overfed her?

She probably wants more variety in her life.
