I'm turning 48, but actually I don't look much different than I did 15 years ago. Provided that I stay healthy and exercise and take care of my skin, teeth, etc., how long before I'll really start to sag, or can I stay firm, fit and youthful for 20 or 30 more years (I mean naturally, not thru plastic surgery)?

good for you for taking good care of your body. by taking care of your physical fitness, skin, and teeth you are bettering your chances of a long healthy life.

that said- don't be afraid of crow's feet or laugh lines- these are the marks of distinction. i think a good examples of this are sydney poitier and robert redford. they are well into their 70's and yet they are both very virile and handsome. just keep doing what you are doing and you will be awesome.

some practical advice- look into thermage- this is a treatment that, over time, tightens your skin giving you a more youthfull appearance. it can be administered by a trained dermatologist and can be pricey but the after affects are long lasting.

BTW- I am turning 40 in august and I LOOK BETTER every day!

My mother is 65 and looks very good for her age. Compared to other women 20 years or more younger than her. Why? She watches her weight avoids the sun and has an active life. I say your doing the right things. Give it another 20 years. She has never had plastic surgery.

Long hair looks better. Short hair makes guys look like they have a little bead for a head. And the shorter they cut it, the worse it looks. You don't have to wear it to your shoulders, but a least cover your ears so you get some expression for your face.

not until late 60's maybe early 70's and even then you can still look great for your age. my grandma turned 75 today and she looks fantastic and is as healthy as ever.
