she intiates physical contact or positions herself so that it is extremely easy for you to. brusing knees or hands is common, but it depends on how agressive the girl is.
she touches her face or her hair often when talking to you.
she mirrors your body position--e.g. you cross your legs and she does the same thing.
she doesn't slap you when you kiss her.

Hi Day-day:
I think the signs could be different for both men AND women depending on how assertive they are. It would be harder to tell if a shy girl really likes you. I am a shy lady, in fact, painfully shy so when I like a guy, I just look at him and smile a lot(full frontal smile, and lilting laugh). I accentuate my eyes which are my best feature, I wear beautiful clothes whenever I'm around him, cologne, and fix my hair. When he looks at me, I just smile and lower my glance.
But the signs for a girl who is not shy and is more assertive can be smiling, winking, tilt of the head, leg exposure, playing with her hair, asking personal questions, and openly and boldly asking for a date or making some other suggestive comment. She may take every opportunity to touch you. She may tease you in a nice way or take something of yours and hide it, leaving you to beg for it back. But I think the telltale sign that any girl likes you would be if she smiles at you a lot and gives direct eye contact for more than 3 seconds.

She will flirt lots, but also act very much so like she may not like you , depends on the type fo girl she is.. She might txt you alot, talk to you alot, want to be around you a little bit more than before (only a whole lot) she just doesnt want it to be too obvious.

My wife started running away from me in public, acting strange, and whispering to her friends about me... all of this when she first liked me. Haha - I thought she would get a restraining order or something, but no. She just liked me! All girls are different.. sometimes it's best just to ask. Girls like a blunt man sometimes.

well it depends ho u feel but when a girl likes a boy she usually stares at you alot but if you are friends with her she might be kinda different then usual and she is sometimes rude like sayin be quiet when you say an advise to her but mostly she cant stop laughing for no reason

When she tries to be witty and sarcastic with you. But that's only pretty assertive girls. Other types will show their affection by agreeing with you a lot. You have to know her personality.

A lot of times they think everything you say is funny. They also do everything they can to talk to you. or they can ditch their friends for you.. and if they do really nervous things like, saying things like umm. or uhhh. they also might play with their hair.

You know what I don't try to show him that I like him. in steed I give him mean faces and act as if he isn't cute or worse act as if he isn't there. Its so weird I don't mean to do that it just comes out and it so totally sucks.
