Yes the computer shuts down when you have a certain percentage right. If you are self confident and feel like you answered most correctly, you are probably safe to say you passed.

The same is true for failing. If you have a percentage of wrong answers that you can't bring up with the remain questions. You will probably know this too.

But after wards you will gather with friends and ask each other "what was the answer to ____?"

Fortunately you hear fast. When I took my boards 31 years ago the entire state had to report to the largest auditorium.
We got 5 different tests administered over 2 days. A perfect score was a 700 and 350 was passing. Then we didn't get our results for about 3 months. At least back then you could work as an RN LP. My first full year as a nurse I got paid a little over 9,000 a year.

Oh, and when a Dr. came into the station we had to stop what we were doing and give him your chair.

Hi I took my test on Tuesday October 25th @11am and my computer shut off at 85. When I went it I felt confident and as I walked out I felt confident, until I realized that one of my classmates took the test the same day as me and her results were posted o. The state board of nursing before receiving the quick results. I have slept or have I eaten because I feel now that I probably failed. Has anyone had this experience?

for lpns the minimum number of questions in the state of ohio is 85 with a maximum of 205 for rn's i am not sure what the computer does is answer questions easy then hard if you miss the hard one an easy one comes next the computer ping pongs back and forth until the "testee" has answered enough questions correctlty from the pool of questions and yes the computer can shut down at 85 questions mine did and i thought i failed but i did not good luck a girl in my nursing class got the maximum number of questions and still obtained her nurses license

If you have answered enough questions correctly to pass it will shut down, if you have answered enough questions incorrectly that you cannot pass it will shut down too.
