Ouch...Hun, your worst sin here, is in assuming that "we are all adults here". It is summertime, it is a Friday night, and the internet is loaded with kids "doing their thing".
Now, as to whether or not you are married to the male partner...alot depends on your commitment to one another. Do you intend to be with this guy for the rest of your life? Does he intend to be with you for the rest of his life?
If you have that sort of commitment, why not bite the damn bullet and get the damn paper? God, where have you been? Do you know how many gay people here would be tripping over one another getting to the nearest court house? But you seem to take the privilege for granted...
go figure.
If you do NOT have that sort of commitment, why the bloody h e l l are you having sex with one another? Don't you know how serious a sexual relationship is? Are you both using protection, I hope? And what if it doesn't work? What if you screw up and get pregnant? Are you ready to raise a kid together? Do you want to add to the abortion death-toll? Do you realize the risk to your own pretty little body?
Assuming the two of you ARE in a committed relationship, why would you want to introduce a second female into your cozy little bedroom scene? Girl, are you completey CRAZY??? It would totally serve you right if the two of them packed his bags and disappeared on you...right BEFORE you discover that you are, indeed, pregnant.
Don't think it happens?? Oh, Hun...please. Don't be so damn naive...
Stick to the vibrator. Heck, it's "up" whenever you want a little action, and it does't make any demands...unless you count keeping it supplied with fresh batteries.
I gaurantee you that the kids reading this question can tell the difference between the second female and the vibrator. I'll leave it to some of them to explain it to you.
And...may God bless you, child.
I don't know many people who need it more...

All of a sudden I'm feeling just a little more adult than I was before reading your question! :)
Oh, yeah.... an answer.... sorry, just a bit distracted for a moment... sin is, of course, a mostly arbitrary human construct. Completely subjective and supported only by the vaporous nonsense of some fictional religious text or other. And even within the confines of those texts, adherents seem to usually find a sufficient amount of moral "wiggle room" to accommodate most of the activities they choose to indulge in. Sinful? Sin is whatever you decide it is. Sin is what you personally feel wrong about doing. If you, partner A, partner B, and/or the VibroMaster 3000 are all comfortable with what's going on.... no sin.

Well, unfortunately, we are not all adults here. But nevermind about that.
Since I don't use the term "sin" at all, I'm not the one to tell you if they are sinful. But personally, I see no problem with either scenario. The primary difference between the mechanical and the human (You say "other than the obvious," but which aspect you calling obvious?), is that the "plastic fantastic lover" does not have feelings. It will not be offended if you put it back in the dresser drawer and leave it there for weeks at a time. But the "hot chick" might have expectations that differ from yours or your man's. I'm hoping you will all three be sensitive to this part of it before you lead her into the bedroom, NOT after!
I've done my share of similar situations, both being the third party and being the second, if you catch my meaning. Being the "one in the middle" is the most fun.
Other than the above-mentioned caution, I say ain't nobody's business if you-all do. And enjoy!

Adultery
Voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and a partner other than the lawful spouse.
What makes you think that being a consenting adult makes any difference at all. The Commandment is "You shall not commit adultery. If you use a marital aid that is an extension of your Husband's attention and capability. You don't know the differance between a person and a tool? Jim

I personally think you and your friends are all sick!! God created a man and a woman. This is the way it should be for all of us. I would not have it any other way. 2 males or 2 females together is wrong in God's eyes. 2 females 1 male or 2 males and 1 female, is discusting! However if you like this go for it. I believe God will forgive you all.

Why do you assume that everyone here is adult?
You should be more careful.
And, I think you should stick to the vibrator. What if your husband/male partner were more interested in the other female instead of you who he can get any old time? He wants someone he doesn't always have access to--that would not be you.

Well, one man and a woman united in marriage is OK. Figure the rest out for yourself. If not there is aids, syph, unwanted pregnancies, gonorrhea, chlamydia, broken relationships...fill in the rest of the blanks. There is a reason the Bible advises against whatever.

Firstly determining "sin" on a particular case is none of my business. However, to answer your question you might consider the overall theme of Jesus:
Harmony is harmony; disharmony is the only sin against God.
Ergo: If there is no disharmony, there is no sin.

Look here is how I look at it. What goes on behind closed doors is none of anyones business other than the person or persons who are involved.
As long as the three of you were consensual than it is ok
