I'd at least show them I exist. You can't win hearts by hiding. Sure, some will still make up their own gods. But without actually showing up, their gods would be just anthropomorphic fantasies.

Well that is silly. No one is God. For the sake of answering your question however... I wouldn't want to win the heart of anyone that didn't believe in me. I would respect that each individual has to follow their own path be it organized religion, spirituality or a lack of both. Not being religious does not mean that you are a bad person with no morals - it just means that you have found a way that works better for you. Any way that brings a person peaceand personal understanding is fine by me.

Personally I'd have more respect for an atheist than a Christian or other believer, because atheists are more intimately engaged with "creation" than anyone that looks at the universe and says simply, "God did it." They want to know what makes it work. If I were God, that would please me, just as it must please an Engineer whose work is admired not because he's a genius, but because the machine itself provokes intense curiosity.
So if I were God, I would have no interest in winning anyone's hearts. I would consider it the height of hubris to feel any need to be worshiped or glorified. That's my take on it, and probably one of the biggest reasons I have no interest in any God that's ever been described. None of them have any relevance to me or my life.

Eh?
You are missing the point!
Atheists DO NOT believe God exists.
So for an Atheist to think he was an non entity, would mean he no longer existed, and a non existent person CANNOT win the hearts of anyone, or anything.

It is only when a person, being burnt out with material life, and craving and searching for the TRUTH, searches for God, and only at this time when a person sincerely prays, does God reveal Himself. Otherwise, God allows us all our free will, we can believe as we like, He doesn't interfere with our wanting to not believe, in fact, He allows false doctrines to be in existence. Not a blade of grass moves without the will of the Lord. God is not obligated to reveal Himself to those of atheistic, and inimical natures. He allows us all to do as we like.
It's ok.... Let the atheists be. If God gives them the right to believe as they want, we should too.
The opportunity to know more is always open of course.

I would make sure my followers leave the atheist alone and quit being so judgmental for once. That might win a couple of hearts, who knows.

atheists deny god on proof and evidence, so if I really wanted to convince an atheist or a billion atheists I would create a miracle, one that is witnessed by millions, videotaped, the whole deal and something that absolutly could not be denied or explained by science. Something obviously god given.

Being omnipotent, I'd reverse time and not slaughter people en masse, I'd reverse my decree that I was going to make all people who happened to be born in the wrong place and believe the wrong thing suffer eternally, regardless of how much good they did, and I'd have a 5 minute conversation with all of them explaining to them that I do exist.
It shouldn't be too hard for someone that can do ANYTHING, right?...

If I were God, I'd show the people that I exist and that I wouldn't let anything go wrong on this planet. I would show them that I can heal the sick, give people that can't walk, the ability to walk, let nothing happen to them.

This is not the way to witness (on this message board)--it is just a way to frustrate yourself, and you won't get anywhere.
You should go out and reach people in person, and let them see Christ in you. Then when they start asking why you are so content even when life throws you curve balls, you can tell them of the gift you have.
