ok I gotta answer some ppl here who thought that its not right to hit a woman, but this is our RELIGION how can u disrespect our right to do it???? qu'ran sez women must be controlled or she danger of hellfire, this is fact b'cuz most ppl in hell are women it's a fact right in qu'ran. so plz understand and help us!

See is there any other way. i mean maybe if we trap her in the room for some time or even if my father won't hit her then maybe we can take away the food until she relents to be reasonable. i know u think this is harsh but anything is better than breaking the family. i am her son but i can hate her if she does this action! wud it be better to get her to move back to pakistan? at least there she cannot run away like this in US. even now v are not sure where she is living.

Your mother has the right NOT to be Beaten.
Your mother has the right to eat.
You mother has the right in this country to come and go as she likes.

Think about your mother. Who bore you? Who nurished with her own body? Who comforted you if you were hurt? Who made sure you had food to eat? Who cleaned your house, who cleaned your clothing? Your Mother That's Who!

To think it's ok for your father to beat her is just plain wrong! I don't care what the Qu'ran says. It's wrong to physically hurt other people. It's wrong to starve them into submission.

If your father had been kind to your mother she probably would be there with you now. It's not your father who broke up your family. It's your father for mistreating your mother.

Your mother in law is wrong in saying "love" can change the way you or your mother are being treated. Whether it is your cultural way of doing things. Evidently after years of being abused before coming to this country your mother has realized her life does not have to be miserable.

Okay you have been brought up under different religious guidelines than others that reside in the United States I am familar with your cultural values however I would caution you in enslaving your mother in the US this is considered illegal because it is abuse and it is also considered by many to be morally wrong you have a right to what you believe in yes, but please remember you reside in the US right now and things are very different here please repsect that. I am sorry you feel the way that you do but women are treated much differently here and if this continues I would reccommend that your mother leave you and your father because this is not something she deserves.
