I would not consider it as being a coward I just think their just upset because their not getting the response they want. Their mainly being closed minded and if their going to be like that then they just should not ask the question. On the other hand some people should be block. If some one ask a question and someone responds with a really ignorant comment then yes they should be blocked.

Not a coward, just narrow-minded enough to abuse the system. Blocking is meant for trolls and spammers. Blocking people whose views differ from yours is an abuse of the system, because blocking is a form of reporting. The Y!A Team Blog states specifically that Yahoo investigates accounts when a user is blocked by a large number of people, so if people start blocking others on the basis of their viewpoint, then there will be users needlessly investigated.
From the team blog:
http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-d8pH0dcoRKeB12yOcnUQp.9VCFos?p=22822
"We will be reviewing the Blocked User lists, investigating people who have been blocked by multiple members of the community, and taking appropriate action on a regular basis. By blocking trolls, you are helping clean up Answers, and improve the Answers community."

I agree 100% he is doing this so that he can spread lies about those who are Atheists and non-believer.
There is a difference between hate response to a question and those who poste answer that oppose your view points.
adam/echo is a coward big time.
I blocked him too what goes around comes around

Haha. When I read your headline, the first person I thought of was that child, Adam/Echo.
He needs a chatroom, not a Q&A forum.
Yay! He's leaving soon!
ps Why do his answers look like excerpts from an instruction manual for a DVD player that was manufactured in China?

There are always two sides to an issue, everyone deserves to have their opinions seen so it is lame to block someone because their opinion differs from yours.

No, it doesn't make you a coward - it makes you small minded, though, and only open to people who's views agree with your own. By doing that, he's showing he only wants agreement, not answers. I wouldn't worry about it - he's obviously not worth the time.

I believe so, because I have received violations because people didn't agree with my spiritual or political beliefs. I've tried to bring this to yahoo's attention many times.

Yes. You only want to hear the views of like minded people. You learn nothing when you don't listen to what others have to say.

Blocking is an act of cowardice. An emulation of the stereotypical ostrich.
