Hmm. Normally I'd want to say "Well it's not being part of the herd, being somebody who can pull himself out of a situation, embracing my carnal nature, blah blah blah." and all the other things that go with the philosophy of the religion. But of course, practitioners of EVERY religion feel they have something the rest of the people don't have. So Satanists are no different in that respect.
But I guess a more practical thing is knowing that I have a convenient label that describes my true nature, not something I conformed to, with dogma and ceremony that works WITH that instead of AGAINST it. I've researched tons of religions, but Satanism is the one that made me go "Ah, THAT'S it. That's what I was always trying to say. They hit the nail on the head here."
The best part of knowing a fellow Satanist, for me, is knowing somebody who is of the same stock/mindset. That means we don't have to waste time on guilt trips, religious differences, moral dilemmas, etc. In fact the funny thing is, when I talk to my fellow Satanist friends, Satanism rarely comes up as a topic of conversation. This isn't to say that I get along with all Satanists; some I can't stand. But those I do get along with, I've had very deep friendships with.

Well, H to start with.
Tried to be a Satanist for a while, but the mental discipline was a little too strict for me. Best thing about it though was the clarity, the purity of everything - every emotion was 100% committed to itself, and to the moment. Every sensation was fully appreciated. It was a truly intense way to live a life, but that's why I think I found it ultimately exhausting in the long term.
Best part of knowing a Satanist...good advisors, and very cool.

N is the third and last letter of my middle name :-)
The best part of knowing and being good friends with a Satanist is that they are very straight-forward and you always know where you stand with them, no head games. Also, they are very accepting and don't try to change your beliefs.

This message brought to you by the letter "e"
I don't know any satanists personally. But from what I've seen on here, I would say great senses of humor and a realistic view of the world.

I. ...and I believe that adhering to the "I" as my first and foremost priority would make me an excellent Satanist. The best part of being a Satanist is that "I" come before all else.

Knowing a satanist is better than knowing the president.
If you want to really shake things up tell people you know a satanist.

I don't have a middle name, my whole first name is hyphenated. My mom thought it would be too pretentious to give me a middle name after that, lol. Who needs one when your name is Leigh-Taylor?
I don't really know any satanists, but I'm sure they're not what Christians seem to think they are.
