I have a situation here and I am not sure what to do.

I posted a money order to my credit card company over a week ago and the balance hadn't changed when I checked on it today. I rang the company three times today and spoke to three very unhelpful people who could barely speak English. The first one told me that don't take money orders. The second person said that it might take a while and the third person said pretty much the same in other words. All I wanted to know was if they had recieved my money order and they couldn't put me through to anyone. Is this normal.
What do I do here?
It could very well be lost in the post. What do I do then.
It was a $500- money order!!

Thanks for any help

Tell your credit company you are seeking from the post office who signed for the money order and from where did they come it will get a response and the money order is covered by the post office so that if some one stole it you are covered if the signatory is not from the company it is addressed to

I hope you saved the receipt so you can put a tracer on it and see if it was cashed. If it was cashed it may have accidently been posted to someone else's account. And by the way, I know what you mean about getting unhelpful people who can barely speak english. I seem to have the same problem any time I have to call any company for anything. You would think companies just hire a bunch of morons!

Change credit cards. Transfere balances and pay those off. It will help immensey if you chose a bank near your area. That way, you don't need to make the mistake of sending money orders. Also, go to wherever you got the money order and ask if you can get a status on it. If it has not been processed yet, ask them how you can get your money back. If they don't take money orders, it will be har for them to use it personally, but then again, I'm no expert.

Wait 2 weeks - allow for mailing & processing time.
