You have to be somewhat thick skinned at times but you should be able to see the good in most of the regulars here. If you find someone that is terribly offensive time and time again merely take advantage of the block feature. Make sure to add some of the people you like as contacts and you can focus more on the real fans, their questions and answers. Hang in there, it's actually gotten much better in the last few weeks or so.

Apparently those people never heard the old saying "if you can't say something nice, don't say it at all". It is no different here than when you are actually at the races. I go to 2 or 3 of the races each year and the "fans" boo the drivers they don't like and yell out rude and vulgar things about other drivers. My thought is, they are just immature. They waste so much of their time on the negativity when they could use it to cheer on their favorite driver.

You're going to run into these demented people no matter where you go. Basically, they can "wish" whatever they want, but I feel that a wish for something good for someone is a lot more powerful than a wish for something bad against them. So I say, if you see someone wishing for something bad to happen to someone else, go ahead and wish for something good to happen to them. Then your wish will overpower their wish for bad things.
And those ill wishers will probably having something come bite them in their rear in the end. Not that I'm wishing anything bad on anyone. That's just the way it goes. It's a little thing called Karma.

Hey as one who has thought of it and then been taken out, let me first say do not let them get the better of you. No one should wish anyone dead, that is just ridiculous. Consider the source, small minded people are not the majority, and there are some on here that just love to ruin the experience of those of us who love the sport, our drivers, and the friendships that we make here. They are the losers. Stay here and enjoy...I would miss you

I've thought about leaving for the stupidity in here with people's questions and answers. I know there's alot of people who are cold hearted and say terrible things about a driver just because they don't like them. I know there are people in here who don't like Jeff Burton, but oh well. Their opinions won't change mine or who my favorite driver is.

When I first started here I almost left but then me and my basher worked it out. It's funny but me and Michie used to duke it out too, but now she's my best yahoo buddy. As I recall Drivinfast31 and I also had our little spat because something nasty was said, but we're A OK now and I believe have a mutual respect for each other. Overall theres more people on here I enjoy (like you for example) than I don't so it's worth staying.

so we can definitely see which answerer is a douchebag in here...
...but yea i've wanted to leave before due to trolls and stuff
just think of it this way when people hate your driver that means he's really good :] because they find him to be some tough competition
fergie felt really bad for him when she sang the national anthem at a race once and he told her not to worry because he takes it as a compliment now
when people start being nonchalant about him get worried

I definitely agree, wishing someone dead is no excuse and its rude i can see having a rivalry against someone Else's drivers but wishing someone dead is not the answer. who ever said that stupid garbage better watch what they are saying because there is gonna be alot of mad people on his case and he needs to understand that everyone has there own opinion on their own drivers or sports. if he doesn't like it he doesn't need to be bashing and saying stuff like he did. i have to agree with you.

Dude - it's the internet. If you let something that complete strangers type on a screen get to you... ESPECIALLY about a driver in a sports series (and not even anything personal about YOU), then you need to turn off your computer and walk away.
