The orgies.
^_^ actually, not really.
The best part about being Pagan, for me, is knowing that
1) I am not a slave to anyone, I can be me, and I have the freedom to worship how I see fit, and the choice of who I want to worship.
2) life is considered sacred, and mistakes are tools for learning, not reasons for judgement
3)Women are equally holy as men, and The Goddess can be seen as a powerful figure, the mother of all.
4) the festivals are INCREDIBLE
5) All acts of love and pleasure are the Goddess' rituals
6) Love is the law
7) I get to be a Priestess to The Goddess.
8) pretty much everything.
I am so much happier being a Pagan than I ever was being Catholic. When I was Catholic, I didn't believe what I was saying, and shut off my mind to everything, in fear of sinning. I left Catholicism, and I became Pagan, and I can now speak without fear, think without fear, and act without fear. I've learned to love myself, and demand equal, fair treatment, as a woman, from my peers. I know that I will never be second, or dominated by anyone, and that my body, my sex, and my life is holy and beautiful.
There is so much more to say. I don't even know where to start.
I love Paganism, I was ment to be Pagan from the day of my birth, and I will Live for the Goddess for the rest of my life.

For me, the best part of being a pagan is the sense of freedom to follow a path that nourishes my mind, heart, and soul. Too many organized religions try to conquer the mind, heart, and soul like acquiring a commodity for sale. Paganism brings my spirituality back to basics and the communication with the Divine is pure.

I'd assume a certain feeling of closeness to nature and serenity that would come from the pagan outlook on life... Possibly along with the fact that nobody else is demanding you believe a specific way (besides the spiritual entities themselves I suppose).
...That and of course, the aforementioned sexiness.

The inner PEACE.
Being connected to every thing upon the earth and being able to actually feel it!
Knowing that we have the divine in us and others and how that changes your relationships and how we deal with others and our lives!
Making wonderful true friends!
Knowing that WE are the only ones who can make the soul changes and knowing that we have the power to do so!
Being able to change our enviroment for the better through Goddess given power!
But the really best bit is feeling at HOME.....
Blessed BE!

I have a lot of Pagan friends. They seem much happier and relaxed to me than those of more traditional religion. It appears that they have learned how to love without guilt, and to be good without having to be threatened with hell or bribed with heaven.
The best thing, however, about all my friends who are Pagan is that they get to know me!
(I'M KIDDING! Don't tie me up and force me to eat strange things!)

There are no real rules. Paganism is sort of "do it yourself" type of belief system. It's like a buffet; you can pick and choose which things you like.

Sex is sacred; not a sin!
OK, that was before menopause. Now I guess it's just being a stubborn old crone.

FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:-D
Seriously, I enjoy being able to worship or not worship as I like. Not having someone saying I have to do it one way or the other.
