Yep that is pretty much it...
I readily admit that I am my own god since I am the only one I answer to in my decisions
Live life to the fullest and then you die.

First of all G-dless is not a word.
Second, just because I don't believe in some imaginary entity and you do does not mean that I worship myself (or anything else for that matter). I just try to enjoy my life because I believe that it's the only chance I get and there is no point in being miserable and adhering to self imposed restrictions like most christians

Well, I'm not personally one into the self-worship but I would think that the benefits of such would be numerous.
For starters, being able to be comfortable with yourself and not having to try and fit into some kind of mold that the bible or church tells you is the "proper" way to live.
Self-worship would provide alot of personal empowerment and confidence which would result in much less depression than the average person.

Given the execrable and thoughtless bias of your question, I doubt that you could be enlightened about anything.
I will give you the benefit of the doubt though, and try. I think perhaps you believe atheists 'self-worshipping' as a counterpoint to the way that many believers are self-loathing.

... Well, if you mean Godless, like Yahweh-less, I would say that life is about loving, learning, and enjoying life as you have it.
Self-worship helps me know who I am, and allows me to treat myself better. When I can treat myself well, and know who I am, I can treat those around me better. I'm a happier person, and the world is a tiny bit brighter.
Can you enlighten me to the benifit of hating the world, and hating yourself is? What are the benifits of denying sex and love, what are the benifits of converting everyone around you to self hate? How does that produce loving, happy people?
Oh, and everyone knows that the meaning of life is 42.

I have no ******* money, I really don't have that much fun. You know what asshole, I have lived a less sinful life than most of my fellow Christian friends. I had one ask me one time about my life to fix the problems through Christ. He kept asking like, did you ever do drugs. Did you drink. Did you have lots of sex. In the end you know what he said, quote unquote, "Wow, you are just a good person aren't you."

We non-believer enjoy those things in life just as much as those who believe in a god. We share the same opinions about politics, movies, music ect..
Just because we do not believe in god does not make us any less of a person; despite what some posters are trying to do tonight on yahoo answers

Not believing in your god doesn't necessarily make someone else godless. And it certainly doesn't mean that they are not spiritual people. But then, since you've asked this question in the way that you have, any further attempt to enlighten you would be fruitless.

The meaning of life is to love and help your fellow man, to learn, laugh, and to leave the world a better place.
I don't see any self worship in there,, but I don't need to believe in a deity in order to give my life meaning and purpose.

No time for self-worship. Some of us are too busy volunteering to help the poor and otherwise down-trodden. We are doing what we can to improve society. What do you do?
Your Christian love is breaking my heart.
