I am looking for wedding chair covers for as low as $1.00 up to $2.00 for my September 29th wedding. Does anyone have some to sell me, or know somewhere that I could get some? I live near Madison, Wisconsin. I would really like to get them asap. Thank you!

I tried ebay and they are going for $3.50 a piece and a lot for shipping. I thought ebay was supposed to save you 30% on items. So far I have not seen that!

If you are looking to rent, this site has some for 1.75 but not sure if they ship or what not as I didn't check.

I looked into chair covers at one time and had found this link. (Pasted at bottom.)

This company gives you a calculation for how much shipping will cost if you scroll to the bottom of the page. They start at $1.99 and go up from there.

The calculator told me that for 150 chair covers my estimated charges after tax and shipping costs would be $366.00.

I opted to skip out on the chair covers since I found a local company to rent nicer chairs at for $1.00 each. This way, I had nice chairs without the added expense of the covers. (An added bonus was that they deliver and pick them up so I didn't have to pack covers into boxes to ship them back.)

Check with some of your local rental companies to see what they cost locally. You might be able to get a better deal in the end.

Hope it helped! Good Luck and Congrats to you!

If you're finding them for $3.50 on ebay, that is actually a good price. Not all chair covers fit all chairs - different styles need different shaped covers. Most will run you between 4.50-6.00 depending on what you're looking for. I have never seen chair covers for $1.00 - you can't even make them youself for that inexpensive. You should definitely look into the cost of renting chairs instead of covering them - it will look better and be much less of a hassle in the end.

Can you sew? This might be your best bet...Most of us rent chair covers for an event like this, 'cause who really needs 150 chair covers?

Here's a couple links...The patterns look like they cost about $10, depending on what kind of chair you need to cover. Since I can't see the back of the pattern envelope, I can't tell how much yardage you'll need, but I'd assume 1 - 2 yards per chair. I've found some broadcloth fabric online, that's available for $2.99 a yard, but you might be able to find some for less at your local fabric store. You might also look in your area for fabric wholesalers, who'd have it for even less.

Try Quality Chair Covers , they have various chair cover sizes to fit a lot of chairs out there. Like someone else mentioned, not all chair covers fit every chair. You can check out the sizing chart here:

shipping might be a bit if you are located far from any chair cover company that ships nationwide.

good luck

I doubt you'll get them anywhere near your price. If money is a factor, skip it entirely. I've never heard anyone complain about lack of chair covers.

You may be able to rent them for that much. I seriously doubt you can buy them for that much since materials just to make them would run in that price range.

Try theknot.com...otherwise I'd say you'll have to skip them.

You will probably have a hard time finding them for so cheap. Maybe try craigslist?
