There is a difference between blocking someone who is a troll and blocking someone just because their comments go against your belief

thanks to several of you. I agree that just because your religious view point is not the same as someone else does not mean that you should be blocked from answering.
And yes this blocking thing will be abused

Yeah I just went to look at his Q about atheists and found out I had been blocked.
I guess he just wants to hear "Amen, brothers" and that's all.
Sad.
What gets me is that they can say anything they want about us and we can do nothing to defend ourselves. That's chickenshit if you ask me!
Edit: I'm with RedQueen. I've never answered one of his Q's. I was blocked simply because he thinks I am an atheist...

I'd say Abby (she answered second) has it right. Immature people have a difficult time accepting the viewpoints of those who disagree. I've found that I've been blocked by several also, some of whose questions I have never answered.They have blocked me simply because I am an atheist.
I had a feeling he was baiting us in so I didn't answer him. Someone did this last week with the Catholics too, it's all very petty.
The only people I have blocked are those who have blocked me first. I truly dislike this new feature.

I don't ask many questions, so that is a moot point for me.
I have blocked maybe 2 people... both times because they were full of really bad hate speech and I have no use for that. Disagree with me all you want, no sweat. Dislike Catholics and/or Christians in general, I can deal with that. Start in on nasty hateful talk? Thanks but not thanks.
