I think there is a special place in heaven for all animals because like Princess most are loving and never do anything wrong so most are even better than humans. I bet Princess is thinking bout you the same way as you are thinking bout her and one day ( not too soon) you will both be reunited again.

Of course dogs go to heaven. In my heaven it will be a grassy field on a clear day with a nice breeze. Ever dog I have ever loved will meet me in that field. If there are no dogs in heaven it wouldnt be my sort of paradise. There are 2 things I often think of one is the Rainbowbridge poem and the other is the qoute "Heaven is the place where all the dogs you have ever loved come to greet you" I think heaven is differernt for each person but mine will have very few people and tons of dogs. Please read the Rainbow Bridge Poem . I am so sorry for your loss.

Yes. I believe that every animal or person. Should go to heaven. And I think Princess is up there right now looking down at you and is waiting for you to be there with her.

Here you go:
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I know they do. I have many animals waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. One went just today with a little help from the vet. She had 22 years with us. A beautiful little cat for sure.
Maybe Lucky and Princess are playing together. I try and think happy thoughts as I'm hurting real bad tonight.

I think that Princess fulfilled her divine purpose in creation by pleasing you and being a companion to you. I am so sorry she has passed. Get another dog. That is the best tribute you can give her. You are showing everyone that your dog was so wonderful that you need another companion to be with you on earth now that she is gone.

It does not matter what I think. The question is "what do you think"? Do you see your dog sitting up there on a cloud with other dogs and having a great time, with a big milk-bone between her front paws. A big bowl of clear fresh water next to her. Green parks to run and have fun...it is all in the mind...think how you would like her "after life to be" and run with that...

I think animals are much purer than humans, so if we can make it, they can too. Some people say that animals don't have souls and therefore can't be in heaven... but what kind of heaven would that be? A very unfortunate one, I believe.

Yeah, if you believe in heaven, then you believe in God. Since God created ALL things, it would stand to reason that he's not going to screw everything but HUMANS as far as going to heaven, right? Also, a soul is the spirit and the body combined. If the body DIES when the spirit leaves, it would stand to reason that animals have spirits, or souls as well.
