I was told the ship goes in part way a nd comes back out. but Im not sure about the carnival line, someone mentioned they do a shore excursion

yes Carnival has cruises through the panama canal
they do not do that often but if you look at their site or call they can get you on one that dose go all the way through the canal

Yes, it goes all the way through the panama canal. I don't know any shore excursions along the canal.

never been on a cruise but some of my friends were they went with princess cruise they had a great time.i would get all the imformatiom on each cruise lines to see what they had to offer have a great time and take a lot of pitures

Yes, but only when they are relocating smaller ships from the East coast to the West coast.
