Try just drinking beer the way the brewer meant it to taste. If it was supposed to have a lime like flavor, the brewer would have put it there. Respect beer.

Dos Equis Amber stands on it's own merit. However, many people like a hint of lime with it.

HA! are you really asking this question?! Any mexican beer you drink is usually served "DRESSED" [lime juice and salt on the neck, and lime wedge in the bottle] It makes the beer taste sooo much better, and it does add a twist. You MUST try it. Make sure you do that with CORONA, DOS EQUIS, TECATE... any mexican beer!!!!

I would suggest not drinking Dos Equis at all. If you want fruit in your beer try a lambic or frambois. Or if you're really ballsee try Quelque Chose from Unibroue Brewery http://www.unibroue.com/
I see nothing wrong with putting fruit in beer. I'm a homebrewer and suggest putting a slice of orange in my Hefe at times. In reality try it the way YOU like it. Everyones different and has different tastes.

Most definately add lime and salt. Salt to boost the flavor and the lime to cut back on the bitterness. I even go as to drink lime and salt in my domestic beer.. GOOD
