To those who deny God, I have this to say?

You might have a good life, you are not in any pain, and you are happy generally speaking. I am forever grateful to God and I rejoice with you. However, Jesus did say "come to me all you thirsty, wounded, and broken..." I guess you are not thirsty, so you don't need Jesus. But that's what you'd say. In reality, you need Jesus, and you need God. Without God you wouldn't even be alive right now. It is God who provides rain on both who love Him and who deny Him. It is God who gave you life as a gift, and who provides to you. There is nothing that you have that was not given to you. Every moment you live is a gift of God. You need Jesus because only through Jesus can you come to God. Without Jesus we are unworthy to even mention God's name for we all fell short and are unworthy of His glory. But through the blood of Christ we are covered and forgiven and con boldly come before God. He is our Father, loving and merciful. Look at the world we're living in, can't you see the time is near?

"Tucking Fypos", I am not sure what you are talking about. If there is war in Iraq, what makes you think God is not happy about it? If there is hunger in Africa whose fault is that? It is the world's economy system. Every country wants more money for itself. More oil should I add! We cannot define God by the works of worldly rulers. My mother, nor my dad, nor I or any of my brothers in the church I go to would ever kill or murder babies as you said, or hate gays. In fact I have friends who are gay. I have nothing against prostitutes and have nothing against pot-lovers or drug dealers. Jesus was friends with such people because it is them who need the love and the living water not the ones who call themselves "perfect". No one is with out a sin! We all fall short. I am not the one walking around my college and calling people "fags" and such. I don't even allow myself to say something like that onto a person.

"Bob jr", I'm really sorry that your mom left you when you were a baby. That's what the human nature and the world often times pushes us to do. Without God, the weak can make big mistakes. But if allowed, Jesus says "God is most glorified through the weak". It is through the weak that God does miracles by making them strong.

"Foxxy", you're right. It is because people deny God, they are filled with jealousy against each other, they are filled with hate, and unforgiveness, and they are without mercy. But God can take a heart of a stone and make it a heart of flesh. He can make an old, hateful heart a new and loving. If only everyone believed in God, we'd live in a world of harmony and beauty. How many hearts get broken a day because of sex, because of jealousy, or pride? If there is a god to blame for all of this, it is not the God who gave you life sweaty, but the god who wants to destroy it.

I have noticed a lot of people who have commented have so much hurt. I can only imaging how much damage satan must have done to you. But look at it this way, you are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God, and He doesn't just love you, he likes you. He is not an invisible or distant, He is always there beside you. And even if you have been hurt or abused, or cheated on, or called names in the past, He was there grieving next to you. Only you can put an end to hurt and grieve, rejoice, look hight up, you're Father is the Creator Himself and your life is just a glimpse. It is only the begging of your journey through the everlasting joy with Him! It is not easy in this world, but Jesus says "I will separate the goats from the sheep, those who deny my name and those who receive me". There is no condemnation unto you, just love, free love.

Hell is a myth based on a place called "Gehenna".

Satan is a myth based on a Hebrew word for "adversary" or loosely translated "enemy", and is meant to be a character assasination of the pagan god "Pan".

Jesus was not officially worshipped as God until 325 A.D. when the Roman Emperor Constantine (who drowned his wife in boiling water and killed his own son - to show what a cool guy he was I guess???) convened it and the "commitee" decided that Jesus was a God after all. Before that Jesus was considered a prophet, but not a god. You're religion is based on a distortion of history. There isn't even any first-hand evidence of a "Jesus" ever having existed - all of it is second and was written AFTER the time of Jesus. There's a lot more, but you should be able to figure it out - you are worshipping a myth.

Oh... and I don't deny God because I define God as the natural universe and not some supernatural being that is supposed to be omnipotent but only revealed himself in the Middle East instead of all over the world all at the same time, which a LOGICAL omnipotent being would do.

Well this speech really touched me...not! Just so u know gods loves us big deal he choose to give us free will. if he exist so its his fault. Besides why does god care about us? He's a supior being who didnt have to make us. Just so we could worship him and pls his every whim. Sounds self center. U know my mother gave birth to me but she put me up for adoption in just a week. No it had nothing to do with better life or lack or money just didnt want me. So u think im grateful for her just because she made me? No god is a human emotion need to help coop with the big questions and unknown answers in the universe.Other wise people would go insane because they dont wanna hear the truth that were just and accident and lucky to have evolved and be dominant creatures. But u know nothing last forever gets me curious who will take over when humans are dead and c if they try to make their own god to describe there existence.


Nick this is for u. I did in fact had a very hard life. Im not going to go in details but it wasnt way I would like it go. U know how I got through those hard times not by praying to god but by doing hard work and helping others in time of need. Do I do it because of god no because they feel my pain and if I can help them y not. You dont need jesus or god to make ur life feel like its worth some thing all you need to know is that u are important to ur self and others.

Religion is just creating another barrier beetween us, causing people to sacrifice things in their current lives out of fear of some nightmare of being rejected entry into some fairytale land by some higher divinity at death.

The truth is, when you die, you die. Your mind goes blank, you lose all sense of knowing, you go cold, you are gone, but a corpse. I wish that there were more people who believed this, and lived their lives to the fullest! It's just as silly as believing in magic. You are not happy with what you have, perhaps, so you search for a saviour. Only you can save yourself.

Nevertheless, I totally respect your beliefs! We all have different opinions, this is mine; Religion won't save you.

We don't pray to Jesus because he's dead, just like we all will be at some point. Our thirst is not quenched, but a dead guy won't help much with it.

Even if there was a god, I wouldn't like him much. But there isn't; So I don't.

I think what's hard for some people is NOT that they are "not thirsty", but they have been thirsty all their lives. Some people have suffered to the point they wonder where God was when it was all going down, and they needed help. I mean not to offend, and I respect that you love God. All I am saying is that it's not so easy for everyone else. Also, it's just hard to process that religious rhetoric.
