I speak from the vantage point of being a transplant recepient (heart in 2001) and also a Christian. I know a lot about both. Here goes: There is not one single religious group in America that rejects the concept of organ or tissue transplantation. All view it as a blessing from God that He has worked through the advancement of medical science. Secondly, the Christian view of resurrection is just that - resurrection- and not what you imply - some type of resuscitation. In heaven we will receive new bodies, what St. Paul calls the "spiritual", i.e. sinless, body. You will be you but with entirely different parts. The old is gone, the new is here. You will be recognizable, you will have your distinct personality and character traits, only with the exception that you will be sinless. The cells that now make you up were once part of a cow, a pig, a fish, some grains and vegetables, an ice cream cone, etc., etc. We all have shared cells or molecules with other living and non-living things. Don't get hung up on that. So, the young lad who died and had his heart transplanted into my chest, and I - who will get his heart? The answer is - neither one. We all get new stuff. God is the greatest outfitter imaginable.

Many Catholics are found to have donated parts of their organs while still alive and some when a fatal accident occurs. Unlike Jehovahs Witnesses, that is taboo for them. Perhaps the teachings of the Catholics is more of falling into deft ears when it comes to helping someone to continue living. A kind gesture born out of compassion specially to relatives or loved ones. There are even those who donate organ/s to those they do not know personally. For simply just an act of mercy and sometimes for business purposes..
Death actually are for the souls of the dead in the flesh and their soul may have been considered dead also in the eyes of the maker because of their so much attachments to the earthly lives and they will ressurect to a living soul when they become attached to what is God's. One does not have to worry about the organs that decompose and turn into dust after certain time. The flesh is not necessarily the one to reappear.

Yes, that's not something we need to worry about.
God knows how to resurrect us with or without organs missing.
After all if God can raise the dead, do you really think a few missing organs can't be fixed?

If you know the word of God.You would know that the body of sin and death. Will not be resurrected. The soul and spirit will return to God. This body you speak of is just a shell or temple for us to dwell in on earth. It does not matter what one donates to another....God is concerned with the spirit man and his soul.

Yes. God is not going to need the specific items of this body to resurrect me. He's going to repattern my DNA and outfit me for eternity with a sooped up kinetickizer.

You fool.
Was not the same reasoning used by the pharisees when they said to Jesus, about the woman who remarried after her husband had died, to whom does she belong upon the Resurrection?

The physical body doesn't live on, just the soul. Dust to dust, you know. We just won't need this old physical body any more.
