Why does my bf not want me around his friends...?
i asked him, but he says he don't know

If he doesn't want to introduce you to his friends don't try to
force him but make sure he has a very good reason for doing
this.. It could be he is afraid you would like one of them more
or that they will give him a hard time about hanging out with
you and them..You know how guys are always thinking of
themselves. Just try to be more positive about yourself and
if your BF doesn't make you feel good about the way you look
then drop him. He's the one YOU should be ashamed of..There are many other fish in the sea so if needed get fishing.

Maybe hes not ashamed of you but ashamaed of himself and his friends. Guys are notorious for being different around there friends. Maybe he does not want you to see that side of him.
I would not push him too hard on this. If he spends more time with his friends then you...Then you have grounds to take this up with him. But if he only sees his friends once a week. Let him have his retreat.

I suspect your boyfriend does not want you to meet his friends because he is hiding someone (another girlfriend or even a wife); you, and/or a part of his life from you. Whatever his reasons, unless he can explain them to you in a clear fashion; and answer all of your questions satisfactorily, without been defensive and shutting up,I would say to stop dating him.While you did not indicate how long you both have been a couple,he has no cause to hide you or his life.Please do not accept this even if it will hurt you to end it with him. You deserve better.

Could be he's hiding something from you. Could be anything, another girlfriend, drugs, or the simple fact that he only sees you as an easy hit and doesn't want to involve you in his life. Dump him baby!

Because he doesn't want to...cement his relationship with you. If his friends know, then it's going to come back to you if he starts flirting with someone else. Personally, I get along very well with my boyfriend's other friends, but I do my best to stay exclusively his.

Yeah, you definitly need to DUMP HIM!
MY boyfriend did that to me too- but he told me that his friends thought I was weird or something and they didn't even know we were going out.
And then I found out he made fun of me with them. Ugh, so insulting.

he might have another girl or something, or he might be hiding something like hes doing drugs. Or he might be ashamed of you just like you said.

He is worried about his friend's option of him. If he is nice and sweet to you then he will look like a pansy OR he thinks his friends will try to steal you from him.
